1 · Setup — choose your question set and paste your essay.
2 · Pick one focus — select one required primary writing rubric
aspect to improve (Content & Ideas, Organisation, Vocabulary, or Grammar). You may
optionally add more aspects to work on too — but only one is required.
3 · Revise with the tutor — the AI tutor makes one suggestion at a time.
For each one, you decide: Accept · Reject · Adapt, and say why. That critical
decision-making is what gets assessed.
4 · Submit — get your rubric-mapped report and an anonymous link to paste into Moodle.
💡 Your grade focuses on how critically you pick up the AI's suggestions,
not on the AI doing the work for you.
1 · Your essay & access
Your key is sent only to our server for your own session and is never stored, logged or echoed back. "Test connection" makes one real round trip to HKBU GenAI from our server — it reports PASS only if the gateway accepts the key actually used, and FAIL with the real reason otherwise (e.g. "key not valid — needs rotation").
2 · Choose your ONE primary focus aspect
Pick ONE primary aspect (Content & Ideas / Organisation / Vocabulary / Grammar) — this one is required, and it is the aspect the tutor edits with you. Free to work on more? Add optional extra aspects below; they start unticked and are not required.
Required: 1 primary · Optional: extra aspectsno primary chosen yet
➕ Optional extras — leave these unticked unless you are free to work on more than one aspect. Only the primary aspect is needed to start, and it is the ONE you will name in your reflection (“Which ONE aspect did you focus on, and why?”).
3 · Revise with the tutor
Your decision:…then add your own reason and press Send.
4 · Your revised essay & report
Paste your revised (POST) essay — your original is saved as the PRE version, and both go into the report.
Your reflection
Answer all four questions in your own words — about 30 words each. These are your answers (the AI does not write them) and they go into your report and your Moodle submission. Every box must have something in it before you can generate the report; a short answer just gets a gentle nudge.

No identity is stored with your work. Your teacher maps the link to you via Moodle.
